Hi!  Hola!  My name is Rosa Gutierrez!  Bienvenidos to my page!  Let me tell you a little bit about myself so we can get to know each other better!  I am a happily married mother of 2, American born Cubana, love the Dodgers, and love to swim and lay out (must be in my blood)!  I love everything ocean inspired, and I know I was probably a mermaid in a previous life!  I used to work in the hotel industry - 20 years in Sales and Marketing with the last 3 as a General Manager.  But, life happens.  In 2015, I lost my mom to Breast Cancer and I realized that life is short.  You've got to live in the moment.  So, after careful consideration, I quit my job to become a stay at home mom and enjoy my family!  Best decision ever!   Later on in the year, I joined Origami Owl as an Independent Designer.  I joined because they have a wonderful program for teens where they can work with a mentor.  How fun is it to sell jewelry and party for a living and best of all, have your daughter do it with you!  That's right.  My daughter is part of my business as an Owlette.  It's the best of both worlds.  As an Origami Owl designer, I not only sell jewelry, but I help women earn free jewelry when they host a jewelry bar (like a Tupperware party).  This year, I hope to start a team and mentor anyone who is interested in starting her own business and being her own #girlboss!
